Story
Steam locomotive built by Lima Locomotive Company in May 1887. Was acquired by the Teziutlán Copper Company (TCC) in May 1905. Operated between the towns of Teziutlán and Libres, Puebla, Mexico. Features: Model TCC-2, weighing 45 tons, wheel drive engaged for 29.5 inch, vertical cylinders 10 and 12 inch force transmission and crankshaft gears. Used wood as fuel until 1946, when it was adapted to burn oil. Active service ended in 1966. In October 1980 the Compañía Minera Autlán, SA de CV donated this locomotive to the Ferrocarriles Nacionales de México as a historical piece. This locomotive is exhibited in the entrance of the Buenavista station.
