Story
The railway museum Trieste Campo Marzio is operated on by volunteers. It is located in the railway station Trieste Campo Marzio, which was used for regular services until 1959. In 1984 the museum was opened in the former waiting rooms and other areas. The museum is focussing on the railway situation in and around the Trieste area. The limited resources in combation with the maintenance of the 1906 building make it difficult to restore all material available. The museum is owned by the Association Dopolavoro Ferroviario.
